Effie Woodell Carver

 Effie Woodell Carver, age 76, of Cornelia, GA passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024. She was born in 1948, to the late William and Mary Woodell. She was a member of Silver Shoals Baptist Church in Lula, GA. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Claude and Johnny Woodell; and grandson, Daniel Carver, III.

She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Carver, Sr.; children, Daniel Carver, Jr. (Bobbie Jo), Homer Carver, Sr. (Dana), Marilyn Yopp (Timothy Tow), and Brooke Carver (Jimmy Carney); grandchildren, Becky Davis, John Henry, Dacie Nash, Homer Carver, Jr., Sarah Wanha, and Alex Farist; several great grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren; along with many other loving relatives and friend.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 2, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Silver Shoals Baptist Church in Lula, GA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
