Elizabeth Deaton Smith

Elizabeth Deaton Smith, 85 of Gainesville passed away Wednesday November 27, 2024, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of New Bridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Mildred Tilley, Gainesville and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donald and Andrea Smith, Gainesville. A number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.  Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her husband, Billy E. Smith, Sr. and her son, Billy E. Smith, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Saturday November 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Milton Harris will officiate. Interment will follow in the New Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
