Walton Jackson, Jr.  November 23, 1929 - February 16, 2021

Felix Walton Jackson, Jr., age 91, of Gainesville, died February 16, 2021.

He was born November 23, 1929, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Felix Walton Jackson, Sr.  A lifetime resident of Gainesville, Mr. Jackson married the former Joan Fuller on November 5, 1949, while they were students at UGA.  Following his graduation in 1951, they made their home in Gainesville.  He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Rotary Club.. 

Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Joan Fuller Jackson. 

He is survived by their children Susan and  Philip Hoffstadter, Decatur; Sally and Richard Nash, Alpharetta; Felix Walton III and Laura Jackson, Athens; grandchildren Sarah Joanne Hoffstadter, Joseph Walton and Melissa Hoffstadter, Nancy Madeleine Jackson, Felix Walton  Jackson IV; and great grandson Skylar Michael Hoffstadter. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to Eagle Ranch, PO Box 7200, Chestnut Mountain, GA 30502; or to a favorite charity. 

At Mr. Jackson's request his remains will be cremated, and plans for a memorial service will be announced at a later time.
