Frances Charlotte Caldwell

Frances Charlotte Caldwell, 93, of Cleveland, Ga passed away peacefully Monday, May 30, 2022 at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born May 18, 1929, in Merriville, In to Charles P. and Lucy L. (Fritz) Popp.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Caldwell, Sr., sister, Laverne Beyer, brother, Robert Popp, and son, David Caldwell.

Frances is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Sharon Popp, Crete, IL. Children, Marlin Mosher, Hobart, In, Gary Caldwell, Cleveland, Ga Cheryl and Buddy Payne, Palm Coast, Fl, Karen and Andy Clark, Palm Coast , Fl, and Joseph and Deborah Caldwell, Gainesville, Ga, 12 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

Frances worked 10 years at US Steel during and after WW11 and then in retail until she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, and cross-stitching. She will be greatly missed by all.

A private family celebration of life was held Sunday, June 5th, 2022.
