Hansel Edwin "Hank" Hatfield, 82 of Pendergrass died October 31, 2022, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Braselton Campus.
Born in Habersham County, Mr. Hatfield had lived in Jackson County for a number of years. He was the son of the late Leroy Ambrose and Laura Mae Crow Hatfield. Mr. Hatfield served in the United States Army and was retired from AT&T. He enjoyed gardening, working in his yard and also working crossword puzzles. Mr. Hatfield was a member of Covenant Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joanne Hatfield, daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Ricky Bell, son, Jason Hatfield, grandsons, Jadon Hatfield and Jaxon Hatfield, brother and sister-in-law, Marion and Lorene Hatfield, sisters, Jeanette Whelchel, Vivian Hatfield, Barbara Hayes. A host of other relatives also survive.
Mr. Hatfield is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Gary Hatfield and Stan Hatfield, sister, Carolyn Daniel.
Funeral services will be held Saturday November 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Todd Coble and Rev. Shane Caylor will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday November 4 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
