Henrietta R. (Reed) Barrett

Henrietta Barrett, 95 passed away at North Fulton Hospital, Roswell Georgia on December 2, 2021 after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2021 in the chapel of Little Davenport Funeral Home. Maxey Ladd will officiate. Interment will follow in the Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday December 9, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00p.m.

Mrs. Barrett was born in Hall County and later graduated from Young Harris College. She was a resident of the Gainesville area her entire life and was a teacher in the area for over 33 years. The majority of her years teaching was at Riverbend Elementary School. She was a member of Riverbend Baptist Church. She loved the lord, her family and friends.

Mrs. Barrett was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ada Reed, her brothers Bernard, Jake, Luke and her sister Ruth Reed.

Survivors include her daughter Denise; grandsons Ryan, Jason, Alan and Alex as well as a niece and two nephews.
