James Derek Fowler, 58 of St. Simons Island, Ga., formerly of Gainesville, Ga., passed away Saturday January 10, 2026, at his residence in St. Simons.

No formal services will be held for Derek, but the family will have a visitation at Little & Davenport Funeral Home on Sunday February 8, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

The family ask that flowers please be omitted and memorial contributions please be made to the American Diabetes Association or a charity of one's choice in memory of Derek.
