James Lewis Wilkerson

James Lewis Wilkerson, 76 of Gainesville died Wednesday April 26, 2023 in Cumming, Ga.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Wilkerson was the son of the late Lloyd and Janette (Net) Jones Wilkerson. James was best known as "D", Super D and Jesse James. He was a truck driver for over 40 years.

He is survived by his four children, Rhonda (Pete) Myers, Gainesville, Eric Wilkerson of Signal Mountain, TN, Paula Parson of Signal Mountain, TN, and Cherrie Bellomy of Ohio.

Mr. Wilkerson is preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Tim Myers.

Funeral services will be held Monday May 1, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends Monday May 1 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
