Jean Morgan Warlick

Jean Morgan Warlick, 88, of Gainesville, GA passed away on January 24, 2023, at
Northside Forsyth Hospital.

Jean, also known as Alder Jean to her brothers and sisters, was born to James Henry
Morgan and Ada Elva Sellers Morgan in Mobile, Alabama on November 21, 1934. She
graduated from Murphy High School in Mobile in 1953 but lived most of her adult life in
Georgia.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents; husband Samuel F. Warlick; sisters Elizabeth
Delegal and Shirley Harveston; and brother Alvin Morgan.

She is survived by her son Stephen Warlick and wife Julia; son Michael Warlick and wife
Karen; daughter Deborah Kinney and husband Steven; grandchildren Kenneth and wife
Jodie, Candice, Austin, Stephanie, Madison and Amanda; great grandchildren Reagan,
Bowen, and Colton; her sisters Cathleen Cumbaa, Bernice Walton, and Betty Gilpin; and
brothers Ronnie Morgan and Jerry Morgan.

A memorial service will be held Saturday February 4, at 4:00 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church,
3590 Thompson Bridge Rd., Gainesville. GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked memorial contributions to be made to Corinth
Church, c/o Buddy’s Mission Trip, 3590 Thompson Bridge Rd, Gainesville GA 30506.
