Jeremy Jay Jones Obituary

Jeremy Jay Jones, 37 of Gainesville died Saturday April 9, 2022. Jeremy was born on October 30, 1984.  He grew up in Somerset, Kentucky where he attended Somerset High School, where he found his passion by playing football.

He was a member of Free Chapel and was employed at Lanier Color Company.  Jeremy loved God and his sunsets at Lake Lanier.  This was where he found his peace.

He is preceded in death by his nephew, Kayden Renfro.

He is survived by his mother Rita Malone, sister, Holly Malone and brother, Johnathan Davis, aunts, Rebecca Jean Christin, and Lora Lehmkuhl, nieces, Alisha Davis and Jade Renfro, nephew Carsyn Renfro.   He also had a host of special friends, Kimberley Waller, Chris Daly, Nick Smith, Dillion Smith and Kaleb Loggins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday April 16, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends Friday April 15, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
