Jimmy Aleman, age 70, of Commerce, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on May 30th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Jimmy was born to the late Abel and Evelyn. Jimmy went on to dedicate over 26 years to his profession, working as an Aerospace Maintenance Superintendent in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. Jimmy married his wife, Yong, and shared 32 wonderful years together. He was an avid sports fan; a committed supporter of the Dallas Cowboys. He loved to watch old westerns, work on the cars at home, and keep up the yard; a handyman we were grateful to have in our lives.
Jimmy is survived by his wife Yong; brothers, Abel, and George; his sisters, Marilyn, and Ann George. A daughter, his sons Jimmy, and Jason; his grandchildren Taylor, Makennah, Ethan, Justice, Keanu, and Ariyah. Jimmy’s kindness, generosity, wisdom, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, sibling, coworker, and friend; always willing to lend a helping hand. The family would like to extend thanks to the caregivers from Compassus Hospice Care for their support.
Visitation will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Little-Davenport Funeral Home, 355 Dawsonville Hwy, Gainesville, GA 30501
