Joanne R. (Selby) Stoffer 

Joanne R. Stoffer, 96, passed away peacefully, Friday May 16, 2025, in her
home in Gainesville, GA. She was born in Dayton, OH on November 22,
1928. 
 
She attended Ashland College, Ashland OH, where she met her future
husband, Robert L. Stoffer. They were married June 9, 1951, and lived in
the Chicago, IL area until 2001 when they moved to Gainesville. 
 
Surviving is her husband, Robert; children Lisa (Steven) Bromley, Eric
(Sue) Stoffer, Wayne (Susan) Stoffer; grandchildren Timothy (Mary
Kathryn) Bromley, Peter Bromley, Kurt Stoffer, Jackson Stoffer, Nolan
Stoffer, Jodi (Charles) Warren; and great-granddaughter Joanna Bromley,
along with other relatives and friends. 
 
She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Jesse Selby, sister
Marilyn Smiley and brother Charles Selby. 
 
A private service will be held by the family. 
 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests, with gratitude, that donations be
made to the contributor’s charity of choice.
