Joe E Dyer

Joe E Dyer, age 88, of Gainesville passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. 

Joe was born May 25, 1932 to the late John and Julia Dyer. He graduated from Riverbend High School in 1949. He owned and operated the Dairy Dip for several years and retired from North Georgia Supply. 

Joe was a member of Dewberry Baptist Church No. 1 where he was a deacon and had previously served as Sunday School Director for 19 years. 

Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Joyce Dyer. Sons and daughter-in-laws Gary and Tracy Dyer, Mike and Lynn Dyer, Kevin and Cynthia Dyer. Grandchildren Brandie and Daniel Farrar, Clayton Dyer, Brannon and Hannah Dyer, Julie and Tyler Martin, Kailee Dyer, and Emma Dyer.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Dewberry Baptist Church No 1. with Brannon Dyer, David Martin and Dr. Brad Reynolds officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 at the church before the funeral. Interment will be held in the church cemetery.
