Joel Douglas Poole

Joel Douglas Poole, 79 of Lula passed away Wednesday March 8, 2023.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Poole was the son of the late O.C. "Joe" and Gertrude Poole.  He was retired from Ace Hardware and was a member and deacon of Diamond Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Worley Poole, daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Chris Kytle, son and daughter-in-law, Gregg and Hayley Poole, grandchildren, Adam Kytle (April), Trey Kytle (Briana), Sydney Horton (Dillon), Hunter Poole (Tiffany), great grand-daughters, Honor Archer, Berkeley Kytle, Aspen Kytle, Kyleigh Kytle, Chloe Kytle, Bryleigh Kytle, Iris Horton, sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Doug Hulsey, sister-in-law Linda Ash (Tommy). A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Poole is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Gertrude Poole, brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles L. and Betty Poole, Cecil and Bessie Poole, sister and brother-in-law, Shelby Jean and Richard Martin, sister, Gladys Cathey Butler.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 11, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at Diamond Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Kody Rylee and Rev. Wayne Turk will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with Rev. Brent Jordan officiating. The family will receive friends Friday March 10 at Little & Davenport Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
