John W. Money Obituary

John Wesley Money, 58, of Jefferson, Ga went home to be with the Lord on Sunday September 26, 2021.

He was a member of the Cross Roads Church of God in Commerce, Ga.

Born in Ohio, John lived in Habersham and Banks County for a number of years but was currently living in Jefferson, Ga. He worked in HeAvy Equipment Welding and Repair.

John is survived by his wife Mary DeAnn Money, Jefferson, Ga.; son William Lane Money, Jefferson, Ga.; son Logan Money (Tonya), Tennessee; daughter Ashley Money (Corey Sedlock), California and grandchildren Destiny and Xavier Money, Tennessee and Elsie, Finley and Charlotte Sedlock, California. Included are his mother Wilma Money, Hull, Ga.; mother-in-law JoAnn Escoe (Jim Cantrell) Clermont, Ga.

Also left behind are his brother Hoyt Money, Jefferson, Ga; brother Clayton Money, Kentucky; brother Michael Money (Linda) Hull, Ga.; sister Sonia Money (Ronnie Seabolt), Ila, Ga.; sister Luci Money (Kenneth Bray) Hull, Ga.; brother Jodie Money (Arron) Homer, Ga.; brother Jason Money (Leshia) Ila, Ga.; with extended family members Bobby & Sandy McWaters and Vickie & Stoney Ervin.

John was preceded in death by his son Lex Wesley Money, his father John M Money; father-in-law Gary Escoe; his maternal grandparents Charlie & Luci Money and paternal grandparents Warren & Ruby Freels.

Due to COVID-19 there will be no services at this time. A private viewing for the family will be held and Pastor (Gary Thompson) of the Commerce Church of God will provide prayer and comfort for the family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date

Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery (Main). Pallbearers for the interment will be Kenneth Bray, Ronnie Seabolt, Brandon Sharp, Donald Ray Poore, Michael Freels and Anthony Craft.
