Jorge Luis Gonzalez, age 31, of Gainesville, GA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. He worked at Wrigley’s since 2017 and made many friends at his work. Jorge will be remembered for his passion for aviation and his dream of becoming a pilot. He also had a natural gift for music and taught himself how to play the guitar, bringing joy to those around him. If you knew him, you truly understand how special this was. Jorge also enjoyed chess, gaming, coding, basketball, and bowling. His family was always first, especially his daughter Emma! He is preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Gonzalez.
He is lovingly survived by his cherished daughter, Emma Juliette Gonzalez and her mom Daymaris Rodriguez, parents, Brenda Gonzalez and Fernando Gonzalez; his sisters, Zoraida Luciano and Mildred Gonzalez; his brothers, Fernando Gonzalez Jr. and Luis Gonzalez. He is also survived by his family in Puerto Rico; maternal grandparents, Frances Rodriguez (Enrique), and Manuel Soto, paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Datil, maternal uncle, Manny Soto and maternal aunt, Mary Soto. Other siblings, Leslie, Shirley, Keila and their father, Jorge A. Gonzalez. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
