Joyce Ann Plemons, formerly of Sweetwater TN, passed away peacefully at home in Gainesville on February 13th. She was surrounded by family and her devoted husband Steve.
Joyce attended Gospel Assembly church in Gainesville and Ringgold GA. She loved spending time reading her Bible and worshipping the Lord in song and playing the piano. She had a joyful spirit and never met a stranger.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Edna Rose Forshee, her eight siblings, and her daughter Dana.
Survivors include husband of 46 yrs, Stephen Wayne Plemons; son and daughter in law, Steve and Jennifer Plemons of Chatsworth GA, daughter Stephanie Plemons Smith of Sweetwater TN. Grandchildren Joey & Kayla Raby(2 great-grandchildren Joriah & Kinsleigh), Jake Raby all of Sweetwater TN. Keylon Plemons and Ayden Plemons of Athens TN, Alexandra Lynch and Madalynn Lynch of Chatsworth GA.
No formal services will be held, and at the family's request her remains will be cremated.
