Judith "Judy" E (Cruce) Dutton

Judith "Judy" Evelyn (Cruce) Dutton of Lilburn, GA went to be with the Lord on December 8th, 2024. Her final moments were spent in the company of family, sharing memories and singing some of her favorite songs, before being reunited with her parents, James & Evelyn Cruce, in Heaven.

In her younger years, Judy attended & graduated from Lilburn High School in 1964. She later attended DeKalb Tech to become a certified paraprofessional for Gwinnett County Schools, where she helped foster the growth and creativity of young minds. She also spent several years in various positions at World Financial Group, building lasting relationships with those around her.

She has been a devoted member of North Metro First Baptist in Lawrenceville, GA since the 1980’s, where she used her own personal experience to minister to those in divorce recovery groups.

Her greatest hobby was having fun and making others smile, often singing silly songs or dressing up as fantastic characters. Her greatest love was for her family; she has always been her children’s biggest supporter and her grandchildren’s #1 fan, attending countless ball games and theatrical performances. Her door and arms were always open, and she truly gave all of herself to others.

Remaining to cherish Judy’s memory are her children - James and Cheryl Dutton, Tammy and Jimmy Paul, and Cynthia Fowler; her grandchildren - Abigail and Ehren Harris, David and Megan Paul, and Ana and Kenyada Sims; as well as her great-granddaughters Mali and Isla Harris.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 12PM to 2PM at Little & Davenport Funeral Home 355 Dawsonville Hwy, Gainesville, GA 30501. Funeral services officiated by Dr. Frank Cox will be held in the Chapel at Little & Davenport at 2PM. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Duluth, GA.
