Kimberly Karra Dugan

Kimberly Karra Dugan of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on September 11th, 2021. She was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on June 9th, 1970. She graduated from John I. Leonard High School and continued her education to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s Degree from Champlain College. Kim started her career at Southern Bell in 1993 moving to Bell South and eventually to AT&T as an Industrial Engineer, for a total of 28 years in Telecommunications. Kimberly’s love for the outdoors fueled her heavy involvement in the Boy Scouts of America, where she was a Scout Leader, watching her children progress through the ranks.

Kimberly was married and survived by her wife Sharon Gryb, 69, as well as their three Children, Alyson Ramos, 45, Preston Dugan, 15 and Winston Dugan, 11. She is also survived by her Step Mom, Sherry Cleaves, 66, her Sister Jamie Zensen, 52, her Niece, Katelinn Talley, 31 and her two Great Nephews, Milo Zensen-Marr, 11 and Everett Talley, 3. Kimberly is preceded in death by her Mother, Lazonda Dugan, 69, and her Sister, Melinda Dugan, 27.

Kimberly wishes to spend eternity next to her Mother, Lazonda and Sister, Melinda, so her ashes will be spread next to them on family property at a later date. In lieu of a service, Kim would have wanted her loved ones to raise a glass and have a laugh in her honor. Those who wish to celebrate her life, are invited to donate a tree to be planted in her name so all may remember her for years to come.
