Kristy Crenshaw Nix

Kristy Crenshaw Nix, age 75, of Gainesville, GA passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025. She was born in 1950, to the late, George and Malissa Norton Crenshaw. Kristy was a Gainesville High School graduate. After high school, she attended Lagrange College for one year before moving to the University of Georgia, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Home Economics. Kristy then worked for the Georgia State Merit System and worked there until she became the Human Resource Manager for the Georgia Department of Banking. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Billy Nix; children, Bryan Nix and Kenimer (Kelly) Nix; grandchildren, Paige Nix, Parker Nix, and Dawson Nix; brothers, George William "Bill" Crenshaw, and Ken (Monica) Crenshaw; nieces, Summer Graham, and Chase Crenshaw; and nephews, Chad Crenshaw, Jake Graham, and Jackson Crenshaw; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 11:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Little & Davenport Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA.
