Laura "June" (Herron) Wigington

Laura June Wigington, age 85, of Gainesville, GA, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. She was born in 1940, to the late John Henry and Nota Herron. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Linda Hunt and brother, Andrew Herron.

She is survived by her loving husband, Earnest Wigington; children, Jimmy (Patti) Wigington, Terry (Cheryl) Wigington, Marvin Wigington, Sandra (Tom) Nolan, and Sylvia Westberry; grandchildren, Brandon, Avery, Savanna, Courtney, Kayla, Blake, Scott and Nicole; and 12 great grandchildren; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 31, 2025, at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA with Rev. Randall Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Harmony Hall Baptist Church Cemetery in Gainesville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
