Leslie Chapman

 On June 17, 2024, Leslie Phillip Chapman passed away at the age of 71. Leslie was born on May 25, 1953, in Gainesville, Georgia to Joe and LaVera Chapman. Leslie was a lifelong resident of Hall County, where he worked in construction throughout his adult life. Leslie was known by all for his compassion for others, his contented nature, and his love for his family and friends.

 Leslie was preceded in death by his father, Joe, his mother, LaVera, and his brother, Greg. He is survived by his sisters, Angela Smallwood and Ginger (Mark) Bowen, and his brother, Anthony (Pam) Chapman, along with many cousins, nephews, and nieces. Leslie was a lifetime member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Murrayville, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 11:30 in the Chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA with Rev. Steve Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Murrayville, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
