Lisa E. Clark, 53, of Dawsonville passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 11, 2022, after a long battle with lymphoma.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered come to me. With tearful eyes we all watch over you, though we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, and hard-working momma hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us that he only takes the best.
Psalms 55:6 “That I had wings like a dove for then I would fly away and be at rest.”
She is survived by her beautiful caring daughter Lisa Leanna Clark (Alex Smith), loving and devoted fiancée Tommy Ogle, her adoring brother "Bubba" James Albert Tunnell III (Ashley Decker), her baby niece Shiloh Tunnell, loving mother Helen Anna Tunnell and Father Jim Albert Tunnell, Jr. as well as her grandmother Dorothy Lee Nestlehutt, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Ernie Scales and husband Larry Denton Clark.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Little and Davenport Funeral Home, followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 5:00 p.m.
