Malena Lynn (Coverdale) Reed

Malena Lynn (Coverdale) Reed, 53 of Commerce passed away Sunday April 28, 2024 surrounded by family.

Born in Fort Carson, Colorado, Malena had lived in Hall County for a number of years before moving to Commerce, Ga. She was the daughter of Michael Coverdale and Julia Coverdale. She had been a beautician for many years before spending the last 7 years working for Peterbilt. Ms. Malena is preceded in death by her Mother Julia Ann Coverdale and great niece Haley Jade Robinson.

Survivors include her Father Michael Coverdale, daughter Ashley (Joshua) Howard Gainesville, Son Michael (Brittany) Reed, Hiawassee, Son Corey (Alexis) Reed Gainesville. Fiance Tommy Pruitt, bonus daughter Melinda Pruitt and Jennifer Pruitt, grandchildren include Blake Reed, Hunter Reed, Skylar Reed, Leland Cleveland, Lily Frazer, Mckenzie Pruitt and Taylor Pruitt, Sisters Michelle Robinson and Dianne Pettway, and many nieces and friends. 

Funeral services will be held Friday May 3, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Interment will be in the Alta Vista cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday May 2nd  from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
