Margaret (Savage) Minor

Margaret Savage Minor, 85 of Cleveland passed away Tuesday January 5, 2021.

Born in Hall County, Mrs. Minor had lived in White County for a number of years.  She was the daughter of the late Van and Mary Emma Rail Savage.  She was a graduate of Riverbend High School and retired from South Insulation.  Mrs. Minor was a member of Dewberry Baptist Church #2.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Nita Minor, Lula; Gary Minor and Chyrl Waldrip, Gainesville; Gregory Minor, Augusta; daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Royce Martin, Gainesville; grandchildren; Brian Martin, Cleveland; Branon Martin (Kate), Oakwood; Ben Martin (Kayleigh), Gainesville; Nathan Minor (Sarah), Oakwood; Lamar Minor (Jacqueline), Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Sandra Savage, Gainesville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roy and Ann Burtz, Cleveland.  A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Minor is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Henry Minor, and a sister, Glenda Burtz.

Funeral services will be held Friday January 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Kyle Savage will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday January 7 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will need to be observed for everyone's health and safety and mask are recommended to be worn for the visitation and the services.
