Marie Bates Grindle

Marie B. Grindle age 78 of Lula, Ga. died Tuesday December 31, 2019 at a private nursing home.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm Friday January 3, 2020 at the Little Davenport Chapel, the Rev. Melvin Baugh will officiate and burial will follow at the Whitehall Baptist Church cemetery, the family will receive friends Thursday evening from 4 to 8 pm.

Mrs. Grindle was born and raised and lived all of her life in the Lula, Ga. area, she was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith, she was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Viola Baugh Bates and her husband, Otis Grindle.

Survivors include her 4 sons, Mitchell Grindle, Bryan Anthony Grindle, Christopher Andrew Grindle and John David Grindle and his wife Christy Marie; Brother and sister in law, Billy and Patricia Bates; Sister and brother in law, Betty Ann and Junior Campbell; Sister in laws, Ellen Bates and Lois Grindle; Brother in law, Harrison Grindle; Grandchildren, Josie, Christopher and Lilyanne as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
