Marie (Hilland) Haynes

Marie Haynes, age 77, of Lula, GA, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025. She was born in 1948, to the late Olan & Annie Hilland. Marie was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Michael Haynes, and 7 siblings.

She is survived by her children, Becky (Brad) Crumley, Beverly (Robert) DeFevers, and Melissa Haynes (Kim Williams); sister, Phyllis Roberts; grandchildren Kristen Crumley, Jonathan (Emily) DeFevers, and Courtney DeFevers (Austin Broome); great grandchildren, Alari, Gabriella, Sir-Henry, Grayson DeFevers, and Layla; several nieces and nephews; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at New Bridge Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA, with Rev. Milton Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
