Gainesville, GA - Mary Frances Moran, age 84, passed away on October 19, 2023, in Gainesville, GA. She was born on December 5, 1938, in Miami, FL, to the late Martha Keiser and John Keiser, Sr.
Mary was a graduate of Coral Shores High School. She had a deep passion for nature and spent many hours tending to her garden, finding solace in its beauty. Mary's highest joy came from loving her family and gathering to celebrate them. She had a love for dance and enjoyed the wit and humor of others.
Mary is survived by her brother, John Keiser, sisters Martha Lavin, Judy Moeller and Joanne Bell, son Michael Moran and his partner Kimberly Young, daughters Lori Bjornlie, Debbie Tashie, and Terri Moran, son-in-law Judd Tashie, daughter-in-law Carmen, and son-in-law Eric, fifteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many friends who are like family. She was preceded in death by her son Mitchell Moran, daughter-in-law Susan Moran, brother-in-law Richard Moeller, nephew Rick Moeller, brother-in-law Max Bell, nephew Thomas Hawkins, brother-in-law Charlie Lavin, and lifelong friend Jack Lavin.
A future date is being planned by her loved ones to honor Mary's wishes of being returned to the sparkling waters of her birthplace, Islamorada. She found great joy and peace being surrounded by nature's wonders.
