Michael “Mike” Lawson, 73, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, September 4, surrounded by family following a period of declining health.
Born March 30th, 1951, to the late Dennis Lawson and Winnie Peck Lawson. Mike was a retired truck driver for 39 years. He loved fishing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Connie Lawson; Daughter, Ashley Javins (Greg), and step-daughter Brandy Thomas (Russell Abbott); grandchildren, Hannah Samples (Jacob); Morgan Elrod; Addyson Elrod and a number of great-grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time.
