Michael Vernon Allison

Michael Vernon Allison, 64 of Gainesville died Thursday March 6, 2025, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Michael was the son of the late Vernon and Dorothy Hughes Allison. He worked at Steel Tech and was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn Farmer Allison, sister, Angie Hiers and nephew, Tyler Hiers, son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Ashley Allison, grandson, Gage and granddaughter, Kinlee, son and daughter-in-law, Dustin and Samantha Allison, grandsons, Mason and Skippy, all of Gainesville, niece, Hannah Allison, Toccoa. A number of aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members also survive.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gerald "Fuzzy" Allison, brother-in-law, Tom Hiers and niece, Wendi Allison.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Sardis Baptist Church. Rev. James Kanaday will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Monday March 10 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
