Mildred Garrison Obituary

Mildred Long Garrison, 80, a native of Forsyth County Georgia, died peacefully in her sleep March 6, 2021.

Mildred lived a full life working most of her years at a Poultry Processing Company.  She was a firm believer in hard work and being an independent, strong-minded person.  Before retiring, Mildred continued her education at Lanier Technical College and earned several certificates in Accounting, Computer Basics, and Computer Information Systems.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed tending to her rose garden.  Mildred also enjoyed traveling, NASCAR, gospel music, musicals, and attending plays and ballets.

A celebration awaited her arrival in heaven by her son, Lendon Gunter; her husband, John Henry Garrison; her parents, Mary and Ferrell Long; and her brothers, Harold, Thomas (Red), and Homer.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Margie Gunter (Earl Stapler); granddaughter, Brandy Brown (Nathan Brown); great grandson, Wyatt Brown; and friend & caregiver, Jimmie Nell Gunter.
