Patricia (Miller) Smith

Patricia Miller Smith, 80 of Dawsonville passed away Thursday March 5, 2020 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Ila, Georgia, Mrs. Smith has lived in Hall and Dawson Counties for all of her life.  She was the daughter of the late Hugh Dorsey Miller and Mildred Irene Wallace Miller.  Mrs. Smith was retired from the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF).

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lauri and Sonny Fields, Atlanta, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Sherry Smith, Gainesville; grandchildren, Zachary Smith (Sarah), Lilburn; Meredith Fields, Sam Smith and Suzanna Fields, all of Atlanta, Ga.; great grandchild, Ezra Jude Smith; brothers, Wallace Miller and Mike Miller, both of Dawsonville. 

Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Rex Howard Smith.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday March 8, 2020 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Don Elrod will officiate.  The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.

Flowers will be accepted, but those desiring may make memorial contributions to Bethel United Methodist Church or the Lumpkin Campground in memory of Mrs. Smith.
