She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Teresa Hulsey of Clermont, GA; her daughter-in-law, Robin Hulsey Parks; her grandchildren Amanda Kastner (Brandon Swindoll), Breanna Whitney Sullens, Cody and Kelsey Hulsey, Bunnie and Eric Herbert , and Jonathan and Jennifer Sargent ; her great-grandchildren Corbin Sullens, Joshua Kastner, Brooklyn Kastner, Peyton Hulsey, Cayson Sullens, Charlie Hulsey, Kaleb Hulsey, Remi Hulsey, Reagan Hulsey, Layla Herbert, Bayle Herbert, Gracie Mae Herbert, Cydney and Felipe Arevalo , Brooklyn Sargent, and London Sargent; and her great- great-grandchildren Sophia Arevalo and Daniella Arevalo. Her cousin Glenda Martin Brasell.
As we reflect on her life, we recognize the impact she had on those around her, and grieve the loss of future hopes. We will choose to heal and continue to move forward, knowing that with her passing comes peace for her, and peace for each of us. We remain grateful for the opportunity to come together to build something stronger, more loving, and more connected than what came before.
A graveside service will be held at Alta Vista Cemetery in Gainesville on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.
In this moment of farewell, we will remember not just who she was, but also who we are—and who we want to be, united as a family, bound together by hope, healing, and love.
