Paul Gerald Watson

Mr. Paul Gerald Watson age 85 of Flowery Branch, Ga. died Saturday April 29, 2023 in Gainesville, Ga.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Monday May 1, 2023 at the Little Davenport Chapel, the Rev. Mike Taylor will officiate and interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 5 pm.

Mr. Watson was born July 2, 1937 in Gainesville, Ga. the son of the late John and Maud Key Watson and he worked for many years with Eastern Airlines. In addition to his parents Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Swansey Watson, 2 brothers, Robert Watson and Floyd Watson, 3 sisters, Ellevee Dearman, Mildred Nicholson and Gussie Watson.

Survivors include, son and daughter in law, Lamar and Debbie Watson, daughter, Vicki Burrell, brother, Dean Watson, sister in law, Doris Watson, granddaughter and husband, Ashley Banks and Chris, granddaughter, Emily Watson, greatgrandchild, Nathan Montgomery. As well as a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the North East Georgia Medical Center Hospice and the staff of New Horizons at Lanier Park.
