Peggy (Matthews) Truelove

Peggy Matthews Truelove, 83 of Gainesville died Thursday April 24, 2025, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Truelove was the daughter of the late J.C. and Annabelle Chapman Matthews.  She was retired from the Banking business and was a member of Diamond Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Jeff Truelove, Jan Rosenfeld (Harry), Danny Benton, Angie Ellis (Scott), Hayley Poole (Gregg), grandchildren, Jessica Terry, Ivy Ellis, Sydney Ellis, Clint Truelove, Rachel Cruz, Toni Bohall, and Hunter Poole.

Mrs. Truelove is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Loy Truelove, son, Marty Lee, granddaughter, Hannah Truelove and grandson, Seth Ellis.

Funeral services will be held Sunday April 27, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rev. Gregg Poole will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Diamond Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Caleb Ryals officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday April 26, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Little & Davenport Funeral Home.
