Phillip Edward Stillwell, 70 of Gainesville passed away Thursday May 1, 2025 at his residence.
No formal services will be held and at the family's request Mr. Stillwell will be cremated.
Mr. Stillwell was born in Bradford, Arkansas and had lived in Hall County for a number of years. He was retired from Shurjoint and had served in the United States Navy.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Cheri Stillwell, daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Shawn Kelley, grandchildren, Austin Kelley and wife Katherine, Kenzie Kelley and husband Shane, Kaden Kelley and Ansley Kelley, sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Bruce, brothers, Chet Shirley, Chuck Stillwell, Danny Stillwell and Jeff Stillwell.
Mr. Stillwell is preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Mary Lou and Junior Shirley, father, Charles Stillwell, daughter, Stephanie Stillwell, grandson, Asher Kelley, 1 sister and 1 brother.
