Regina (Martin) McNeal

Regina Martin McNeal, 84 of Flowery Branch passed away Friday October 9, 2020.

Born in Forsyth County, Mrs. McNeal had lived in Hall County for most of her life.  She was the daughter of the late William Edward "W.E."  and Etter Corn Martin.   Mrs. McNeal taught at Chestnut Mountain Elementary School for over 38 years before retiring.  She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Chris McNeal, Flowery Branch; daughter, Jill Connally, Oakwood; grandchildren, Calem McNeal; Maegan McNeal; Corin McNeal; Lydia Connally; Clara Connally; sisters, Coleen Martin; Carolyn West (Robert) ; Mary Lou Nix; Martha Tanner (James); brothers, Ellis Martin (Nancy); Frank Martin (Stacy); all of Gainesville; sister-in-law, Winnie Martin, Marietta.   A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. McNeal is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, L.C. McNeal; brother and sister-in-law, Herman and Mary Grace Martin; brother, Emmett Martin; brother-in-law, Benny Nix, brother and sister-in-law Kermit and Ann Martin.

Funeral services will be held Monday October 12, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. David Matthews and Rev. Matthew Vandegriff will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday October 11 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
