Richard Blum passed away February 6, 2026, in North Wales, Pa., at the age of 73.
Rich (better known as Ritty to family and friends), found peace following a long courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Through out his illness, he demonstrated grace, positivity and humor, that inspired those fortunate enough to know him. Together they owned and operated a small business in Worchester for many years. Rich graduated from Upper Dublin High School where he was on the wrestling team. He then attended Rider College.
He is preceded in death by his parents William and Winifred Blum.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen, sister Betty Dyarmett, brothers-in-law Chuck Dyarmett and Tom Howlin, sister-in-law Joyce and Anita Howlin, nephew Keith Dyarmett, cousins Diane and Patrick Kilcoyne, as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
The family will have a private celebration of life in May. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Wescoe Foundation for Pulmonary Fibrosis
