Richard Harold Scoggins

Richard Harold Scoggins, age 87, of Flowery Branch died on Thursday, January 15, 2026, following a brief illness. Richard is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joyce Barrett Scoggins of Flowery Branch, his daughters, Linda Healan, Karen Clark, and Debra (Steve) Orr, all of Florida, his son, Verlon Harold (Michelle) Scoggins of Columbia, SC, and his daughter-in-law Lolo Paulette (Paula) Scoggins of Gainesville. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Shannon Scoggins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 20 at 11 a.m. in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville, GA. The family will receive visitors Monday, January 19, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
