Rose (Ray) McConnell

Rose R. McConnell 84, of Gainesville went peacefully on October 28, 2022.  Rose was born on March 20, 1938, in Homer, GA., to the late Jim and Maude Jump Ray.  She was the last surviving sibling of 11.

In addition to her parents and siblings, Rose is preceded in death by her husband Henry McConnell.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Jarrard-Day of Gainesville and Jackie (Chris) Benson of Flowery Branch, grandchildren, Marty Jarrard of Gainesville, Shane Jarrard of Gainesville, Jennifer (Jesse) Reece of Dawsonville, Kacee Carmichael of Flowery Branch and Richard Atkins of Flowery Branch and a number of sweet great-grandchildren that she dearly loved.

The family will receive friends Sunday October 30, from 4-8 p.m. at Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Graveside Services will be held Monday October 31, at 11:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery.
