Shannon Watson

 Shannon Watson, age 57, of Gainesville, GA, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at his residence. He was born in 1968, to Darrell and Gail Watson in Gainesville, GA.  Shannon was a member at Clemons Chapel Church in Lula, GA. He is preceded in death by his father, Darrell Watson, grandparents, William and Belle Watson, Johnny and Jeanette Banks, and Gus and Margaret Rogers.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jane Watson; mother, Gail Watson, daughters and sons-in-law, Carrie (Sterling) Cagle, Kayla Watson (Ben Campell), and Christa (Ramon) Carrillo; grandchildren, Jackson Richey, Kinley Richey, Magnolia Carrillo, and Violet Carrillo; sisters, Lachele (Scott) Brown, and Angela (Elaine) Brinkley; numerous nieces and nephews; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Shannon was a Saved man who loved the Lord, his family, and his church, He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing and golfing. He was loved by many friends and extended family.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Clemons Chapel Methodist Church in Lula, GA. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
