Stanley Roger Ferguson Obituary

Stanley Roger Ferguson, 75 of Oakwood passed away Friday January 10, 2025, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Ferguson was the son of the late Robert Ralph and Anne Ruth Wofford Ferguson. He was the owner/operator of Stan's Auto Parts, was a former member of the Lanier Lions Club, and coached Baseball at Lyman Hall for a number of years. Mr. Ferguson loved old cars, was a big Elvis fan and loved to sing. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Patricia Dowis Ferguson, Oakwood, daughter. Amanda Anderson, Gainesville, sons, Eric Ferguson, Gainesville and Stanley Roger Ferguson, Jr., grandchildren, Ivey Ferguson, Calub Ferguson, Julia Ferguson, Alena Canada, Eve Ferguson, Olivia Anderson, McClain Ferguson, step granddaughter, Grayson Anderson, two great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Cooper.

Memorial services will be held Thursday January 16, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
