Starris Wells was born on August 13, 1950 to the late Carl Goss Jr., and to the late Claudine Mize Randolph. Starris Goss Wells age 74 passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on March 3, 2025. She fearlessly battled pancreatic cancer. She lived her life full of passion and love. She worked over thirty years caring for the elderly while inspiring people closest to her. She was a walking grace who never met a stranger. Starris was proceeded in death by her father Carl Goss Jr., mother Claudine Mize Goss Randolph, brother Micheal “Brother” Goss, son-in-law Patrick Duane Vedros. Her son William “Kip” Wells beat her there to open the door on February 28, 2025.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years William W. Wells Jr. Son Renard “Chip” Wells, daughters Bithiah Wells, Vashti Wells, and Venus Wells Vedros. Sisters, Gloria “Goldie” Johnson, Claudette “Nett” Gaither, Wendy Ahmed, brother Dwight Goss. Several Grandchildren Ryan Wells, Alec Wells, Brittney Wells, Cara Wells, Josh Randolph, Victoria Randolph, Nyla Wyatt, Ashton Wyatt, Jourdan Vedros, Jayce Wells, Justin Wells, Jordy Wells, and great-grandchildren, many cousins. Including her best friends who became family.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
