Sue Ellen (Goodwin) Pope

Sue Ellen Goodwin Pope, 78 of Gainesville passed away Tuesday April 4, 2022.

Born in Douglas, Georgia, Mrs. Pope had lived in Hall County for a number of years.  She was the daughter of the late Clyde Hamilton and Dortha Harper Goodwin.  Mrs. Pope worked as an accountant for many years and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Mrs. Pope is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lonnie Pope.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Teri Pope, Gainesville; sister, Donna Goodwin, Jacksonville, Florida, 5 grandchildren also survive.

Memorial services will be held Saturday April 9, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.  A private family burial will be held at Hillside Memorial Gardens.
