Syble Annette Black, age 87, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026. She was born in 1938, to the late T.M. Wiley and Gertrude Armour. She was a God-fearing woman and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Lula, GA. Syble was a loving and caring person. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Black, grandchildren, Christopher Aaron Black, and Jamie Browning, and nephew, Josh Armour.
She is survived by her children, Chris Black, Shane Black, Steve Gilstrap, Tommy Gilstrap, and Tammy (Gary) Reed; brothers, Ray (Glenda) Wiley, and Jewell (Nancy) Armour; grandchildren, Ashley Rose, Dusty Gilstrap, Jonathan Gilstrap, Kaitlyn Black, Jennifer Reed, and Lynn Reed.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA with Rev. Len Land and Rev. James Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Lula, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service.
