Thomas T. Folger, Jr.

Thomas T. Folger Jr., age 90, of Gainesville, GA passed away peacefully on August 14, 2024. 

He was born on June 19, 1934, in Lacrosse, WI to Thomas and Anne Folger. He graduated from Lumpkin County High School in Dahlonega, GA. He earned his bachelor's degree in Poultry Science from The Ohio State University. He was a partner at Folger Poultry Farms, developed/owned Millie’s Mini Storage and served on the board of the Bank of Dahlonega/Century South Bank.

Tom loved golfing and spending time with his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers, Phillip Folger and Walter Folger, his first wife, Elaine Folger and second wife, Millie Folger and son, Richard S. Kinsey, II.

Mr. Folger is survived by son, Tommy Folger; sons and daughters-in-law; Paul Folger (Laurie); John Folger (Rosie); daughter, Susannah Kinsey; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Kinsey Austin (Ty); Grandchildren: Alane Folger Massey (Bryan); Stacia Folger McGriff (Tyler); Lauren Folger Roberts (Severin); John Folger, Jr (Ester); Elaine Folger; Isabella Austin; Emmeline Austin; Stephanie Kinsey Barron (Michael); Richard Kinsey, III; Justin Kinsey; a number of great grandchildren and other family members also survive.

Graveside Services will be held for family and close friends Friday August 16, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, 2030 Memorial Park Drive, Gainesville, Georgia 30504. Rev. Jamey Prickett will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Little & Davenport Funeral Home.
