Timothy "Eric" Stephens

Timothy “Eric” Stephens of Lula, GA passed away on November 8, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Eric was born on April 9, 1989, in Gainesville, GA to Tim and Peggy Cagle Stephens.

Eric is survived by his mother Peggy Cagle Stephens of Lula, GA. Father and stepmother Tim and Peggy Stephens of Conway, SC. Sister and brother-in-law, Danyle and Ken Jones of Lula, GA. Sister, Heather Stephens of Conway, SC.

Despite not having children of his own, Eric was a beloved uncle to his nephews and niece, Brantley, Grayson, and Carleigh Mae of Conway, SC. Eric was also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins here in Georgia and in Kentucky where he loved to spend summers.

Eric had a special bond with his sister Danyle Jones who dedicated this last year to making sure that Eric was took care of and helped him live his last year of life to the fullest.

Eric also had a special bond with his Aunt Pat Hope, cousins Michelle Osborn and Dustin Cagle.

Eric attended North Hall High School. After graduation, he began his career in the automotive industry, working at Express Oil Change, Jiffy Lube and O’Reilly auto parts. Eric was a dedicated and hardworking individual who took pride in his work and provided excellent service to his customers.

Eric loved to play Bingo, go fishing, and being surrounded by his loved ones. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kindness, generosity, and smile touched the lives of everyone he met. He will never be forgotten.

May he rest in peace.

Upon his request Eric is being cremated. A Celebration of Life for Eric has not yet been scheduled. The family will inform loved ones when details are finalized for a gathering to honor Eric’s memory.
