Timothy Joshua "Josh" Martin

Timothy Joshua “Josh” Martin of Flowery Branch, Georgia passed away at home on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at the age of 44.

Josh had fought a courageous battle for 14 years following a spinal cord injury. He attended Flowery Branch Elementary and West Hall High School and lived in Flowery Branch his entire life. Josh worked in the construction industry operating heavy equipment before his accident which he missed dearly. He was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan; loved the history and discovery channel and music. He was very proud of his grandfather Bronson’s military service during WWII especially his participation in storming the Beaches of Normandy. He adored his grandmother Carolyn, affectionately known as GiGi, with all his heart. He was extremely sentimental and had collected many family items that became treasures to him. He loved hunting, working on trucks, tractors, and anything with a motor. Josh made a big impact on the life of everyone that he met. He will be remembered for the adventures, pranks, and memories made. He will always be held close within our hearts to guide us until we meet again.

Josh was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bronson and Carolyn Clark; his paternal grandparents, Broadus and Ozella Martin; and his uncle, Terry Martin.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Carli and Norris Hulsey; mother, Donna Clark Martin; father, Timothy E. Martin; brother and sister-in-law, Jared and Taylor Martin; nephew, Bryce Martin; girlfriend, Cassy Summers (Red); and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Josh also leaves behind many dear friends.

The family will hold a memorial visitation on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Little & Davenport Funeral Home from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
