Virginia (Sears) Land

Virginia S. Land, 86 of Gainesville died Monday April 24, 2023.  Virginia was born on July 25, 1936, in Maysville, GA., to the late Claude and Mary Mintz Sears.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Horace C. Land, brother; Arthur Dean Sears, Nephews; Thomas and Paul Sears.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Willie B. Sears and niece, Sandra Sears.

The family will receive friends Wednesday April 26, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. at Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held Thursday April 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Raymond Latty officiating.  Interment will follow at Alta Vista Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia, 845 W. Ridge Rd. Gainesville, GA., 30501 in Virginia's memory.
