Virginia Mae (Wright) Williams

Virginia Mae Wright Williams, age 93, of Gillsville, GA passed away Friday, December 26, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born in 1932, to the late Major and Ruby Wright. Virginia was a member of Harmony Hall Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA.  She enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were the “Joy’s of her life”. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Williams, and daughter, Linda Joyce Calvert.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Wanda Williams; grandchild, Sabrina (James) Cantrell, with children, Dakota, Sawyer, and Victoria Cantrell; grandchild, Nikki (Jason) Tharpe, with children, Brady, TJ and Blakley Tharpe; and grandchild, Zachary Kent; special friends, Beverly and Chrissy Ivie; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, December 28, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Harmony Hall Baptist Church Cemetery.
